2. General information on data processing

We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate the website, respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, deliver our made-to-measure products, communicate with customers or comply with legal obligations.

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person, such as name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, order data, measurement data, payment data, delivery data or communication content.

3. Visiting the website

When you access our website, technically required data may be processed, including IP address, date and time of access, pages requested, transferred data volume, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and technical status messages.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

4. Hosting and technical infrastructure

Our website and related systems are hosted on rented server infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

The infrastructure processes data required for secure operation, delivery of the website, storage, backups, logging, maintenance and troubleshooting. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where contract data is involved, additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing by Hetzner on our behalf is governed by a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Contact

If you contact us by form, email, phone or another channel, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. This may include name, address, phone number, email address, message text, photos, dimensions, measurement information, product requests, delivery address and other information you voluntarily provide.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or contract performance and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communication.

6. Quotations, orders and contract processing

If you request a quotation or place an order, we process the data required for quotation preparation, order processing, production, delivery, invoicing and customer service. This includes contact data, billing data, delivery data, product data, dimensions, measurement data, configuration data, payment information, order numbers, documents and communication history.

7. Customer accounts and internal administration

If a customer account, quotation area or comparable customer area is used, we store the required login data, master data, order data, documents and communication data. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Payment processing

For payments, we process the data necessary to complete the transaction. Depending on the payment method, data may be transferred to payment providers and banks. Providers used may include Revolut Bank, Stripe and Klarna.

9. Delivery, shipping, freight forwarding and own delivery

For the delivery of our made-to-measure products, we process the necessary shipping and delivery data. Service providers may include DHL, DPD and UPS, as well as freight forwarders for larger or sensitive shipments. In some cases, we also deliver orders ourselves.

10. Appointments, measurements and installation

If you arrange an appointment for consultation, measurement or installation, we process the data required to plan and carry out the appointment, such as name, address, phone number, email address, preferred date, property details, product requests and dimensions.

11. Photos and technical information

If you send us photos of windows, doors, light wells or installation situations, we use them only for assessment, consultation, quotation preparation, order processing and technical clarification. Please avoid including people or unnecessary private areas wherever possible.

12. Cookies and local storage

Our website may use technically necessary cookies and comparable technologies required for operation, security or requested functionality. Optional cookies are used only on the basis of your consent where legally required.

13. No classic analytics

We deliberately refrain from using classic analytics services to create cross-site usage profiles. Technical server logs may still be processed for security, troubleshooting, abuse detection and stable operation.

14. Locally hosted fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own server. Loading the fonts does not require a connection to external font provider servers.

15. Meta Pixel

If Meta Pixel is used on this website, it is activated only on the basis of your prior consent. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

16. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and any voluntary information you provide in order to send you information about products, offers, news and services. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@flirotech.nl.

17. AI-supported functions

If AI-supported chat, advisory or assistant functions are used, the content you enter is processed to answer your request. Please do not enter sensitive data that is not necessary for your request.

18. Recipients of personal data

Personal data is disclosed only where necessary for the stated purposes or where required by law. Recipients may include hosting and IT providers, payment providers, banks, shipping providers, freight forwarders, tax advisers, accounting providers, technical service providers, communication providers and authorities.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is generally the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
